Baillie Lumber's Rip Division is looking to add a motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team located Sherburne, NY. We are a leading commercial hardwood lumber manufacturer that is experiencing exponential growth, producing a variety of building products for numerous industry sectors. We are seeking a skilled employee to assist with the day-to-day operations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Attention to detail is key to this role.
  • Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus

Responsibilities

  • Compile data and prepare reports for daily meetings.
  • Answers phone calls and directs calls to appropriate parties or takes messages.
  • Preparing shipping documents for both domestic and export shipments.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Assists other office staff as required.
