About The Position

Heavy emphasis on maintaining a customer facing service environment with an eye towards removal of internal and external client barriers to success, while creating contracts, assisting in calendar maintenance, and supporting key leadership. Working with cross functional teams in the creation and implementation of outstanding community events, with high utility for the facilities and the community. Engaging in, or performance of, administrative and clerical duties to support key leadership, co-workers, and clients; performing additional related work as required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (illustrative only and may vary by assignment) This position entails working directly with the public daily, requiring professional and courteous exchanges with both internal and external clients. Helping external customers in creating contracts with strict adherence to the publicly noticed fee schedule, in a win/win spirit keeping the best interest of the facility, the county, taxpayers, and users. Performs bookkeeping duties including but not limited to; assisting with proper processing of payables and receivables, invoice creation, properly receiving payments in various forms. Provides typical office duties including but not limited to; data entry, scanning documents, filing & maintaining paper and digital contracts and bids. Creates, transcribes, and proofs: emails, memos, documents, and contracts. Schedules appointments as required. Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with County policies, procedures, and safety practices. Occasional work outside of traditional schedule may be required. Additional Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic math Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Valid Idaho State Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working as an administrative assistant or receptionist.
  • The completion of at least some College courses in a related field.
  • Applied Associates degree in Administrative Management Technology or related field.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
