As a Full Time Administrative Assistant at Family Resources Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring our programs run seamlessly. Your primary responsibilities will include completing data entry across various platforms with precision while adhering to strict deadlines. You’ll handle general administrative duties such as word processing, photocopying, filing, and managing all incoming and outgoing mail for SP2B, Counseling, and CERTAIN programs. You will be the first point of contact, responding to incoming telephone calls, relaying messages, and providing essential programmatic information. Your warm greeting will make clients feel welcome as you assist them with necessary paperwork and schedule their appointments. You will also conduct follow-up calls, perform data entry for screenings and case closures, and assist in report preparation. Additionally, you'll coordinate office supply orders, help desk requests, and ensure balanced accounting with purchase orders. Your diverse skill set will keep our operations thriving!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must have 2 years' experience working in administrative support or clerical support role.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English and comprehend instructions pertaining to assigned tasks and communicates effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Critical thinking
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be an efficient planer and be flexible in performing assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings as necessary to meet program needs.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of employees and good analytical skills.
  • Ability to make good decisions and be self-directed.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Must demonstrate awareness and acceptance of cultural differences of clients, staff and community contacts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid Florida's driver's license and a clear driving record and current automobile insurance.
  • Background compliant with requirements of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
