Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to efficiently perform general office procedures, and use correct grammar and punctuation.
  • Must be proficient with technology, including Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Must be comfortable completing data entry tasks in a timely fashion.
  • Must work well on a team and relate with people with disabilities.
  • Must pass a Department of Human Services Background check and other background checks as required by MSS.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as determined by our insurance carrier.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates with at least one year of experience in an administrative role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and answer incoming calls.
  • Perform general administrative duties including copying, filing, and scanning.
  • Purchase needed supplies for the organization.
  • Perform data entry as required using spreadsheets and databases. Assist with maintaining accurate attendance records for persons served, including assisting with attendance audit.
  • Assist program leadership with scheduling meeting, writing correspondence, and processing reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality with all private information.
  • Implement and participate in emergency procedures.
  • Be point of contact for persons served and teams about transportation questions.
  • Schedule and cancel rides for persons served.
  • Keep informed on the differences between transportation companies and communicate with transportation providers on the needs of the organization and persons served.
