About The Position

The Administrative Assistant will provide direct organizational supports for department projects developed and managed by the Innovations and Communications team. Primary duties will include providing assistance to the Volunteer and Internship Program, Hope Closet, GED Program and a variety of ongoing departmental initiatives. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three (3) years of responsible clerical and administrative experience OR Combined Education and Experience Qualifications: An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • No prior criminal arrests

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management skills including but not limited to, coordination, public speaking, research, and collaboration.
  • Prior probation or court-related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct support to the Volunteer and Internship Program.
  • Assists with Internship Program recruitment, applications, onboarding, training, mentorship and day to day organization.
  • Maintains accurate and thorough documentation regarding contacts with volunteers, interns and other current or potential stakeholders.
  • Assists with Volunteer Program communications, documentation, audits and file organization.
  • Supports Hope Closet program duties such as taking inventory, organization, visitor access and community outreach.
  • Supports GED Program duties such as transcript management, testing schedules, activity trackers, audits and department communications.
  • Provides assistance to the Innovations and Communications team as needed.
  • Assists with research and data collection as directed, including identifying community resources, surveys, department audits and data reports.
  • Performs program management data entry and/or retrieval to include but not limited to: Integrated Court Information System (iCIS), department SharePoint, GED.com and the Journey.do platform.
  • Special projects as assigned.
