About The Position

The incumbent performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of plant operations and other functions at Orion’s Belpre, Ohio carbon black manufacturing plant.   Responsibilities: Coordinate and provide administrative support to the following processes: purchasing, human resources, safety and training, event planning, logistics, travel planning, expense reporting, and labor relations. Ensuring that hourly employees are paid properly and on time is very important part of this position.   Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent education is required; an associate degree in office administration or a relevant field of study is a plus. Three to five years of experience supporting the top executive at a plant or large commercial facility is preferred. Three to five years of experience processing payroll at a plant or corporate headquarters is required. Experience with ADP is required. Proficiency with SAP purchasing functions is required; advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office products are helpful. Familiarity with the Kronos system of time recording and payroll processing is required. ·The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential; the incumbent should also be available to work overtime occasionally.
