About The Position

BakerRipley Community Schools is seeking a talented individual to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our students and the community. In this role, you will have the chance to use your skills and experience to provide excellent customer service and support to the campus administration, teachers, students, and families. The administrative assistant communicates regularly with families and the community and is often one of the first faces a visitor sees when they arrive at our campus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in school front office management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Dedication to strong customer service with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Work with designated staff across all campuses and locations to assure appropriate linkages between central services, program development and program administrative functions.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, memos, invoices, letters and other documents.
  • Provide support for division meetings, special events, or programs including but not limited to scheduling, set-up and breakdown, purchasing supplies and materials, and registration.
  • Provide administrative support to campus leadership as needed such as travel arrangements i.e. Develop written responses to external stakeholders, internal and external monitors, and other appropriate agency staff.
  • Make and track daily phones calls to families regarding student daily attendance.
  • Perform special projects for the campus administration as needed.
  • Answer phone and route calls to the correct person or take messages.
  • Order, organize, and track office supplies and equipment.
  • Accurately record meetings minutes and action items.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
