About The Position

Pacific Retirement Services (PRS) is a national, not-for-profit leader in senior living and healthcare, dedicated to empowering people to lead meaningful lives as they age. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide organization, clerical support, and front-desk coordination for the PRS Community Housing Program. This role serves as a key first point of contact for visitors, callers, and stakeholders while supporting compliance-driven housing programs with professionalism, discretion, and care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative, business, or office support role.
  • Strong phone etiquette and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard office applications.
  • Professional, discreet, service-oriented, and comfortable working with confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Community Housing leadership, including correspondence, expense reports, filing, reporting, and coordination with public and private agencies.
  • Serve as the first point of contact at the reception desk by greeting visitors, answering and routing calls, managing mail and packages, and ensuring a welcoming professional environment.
  • Support Community Housing program integrity by maintaining applicant and resident relations and assisting with HUD- and PRS-mandated processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Coordinate special projects and initiatives such as Fair Housing, Risk Management, Safety programs, tax exemption work, software implementation, and committee participation.
  • Manage calendars, travel arrangements, front desk coverage, office supplies, vendor coordination, and general office operations while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
