This role provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Director/Manager of the Department. The successful candidate will be able to set their own priorities and deadlines, assuming full responsibility for the quality of their work to meet expectations. The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is essential. Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Minimum of 5 years comprehensive secretarial training or experience at the Executive Secretary or Administrative Assistant level
  • Typing/computer skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, and spreadsheet applications
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to deal with multiple staff and management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced ever-changing environment
  • Vaccination against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preferably in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Director/Manager of the Department
  • May assume special responsibilities in preparing projects as designated
  • Set own priorities and deadlines and assume full responsibility for the quality of own work in order to meet work expectations
