About The Position

The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are two of New York City’s leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth and families, homeless individuals, and older adults through-out Manhattan and New York City. The Baxter Safe Haven is a transitional housing residence for unsheltered adults. Purpose of Position: Provide administrative to the program, working closely with the Assistant Program Director and Program Director.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, systems oriented.
  • Team player
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Comfortable with frequent computer use
  • Frequent walking and standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • AA/BA preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review, code, and submit all invoices utilizing fiscal program: Intacct.
  • Oversight of all supplies, office equipment and program supplies; having full knowledge of all office equipment including telephone system, computers, fax machine and printers; report and follow up on any repairs needed.
  • Ensure all incoming mail is delivered to appropriate staff and residence and all outgoing mail is properly posted and sent out.
  • Filing and ensuring critical binders remain up to date.
  • Manage inventory including program supplies and client supplies.
  • Ensure office spaces are organized.
  • Complete and send AWOL list to outreach providers
  • Assist supervisors with preparing for audits and ensure program stays in good standing at all times.
  • Data Collection: ensuring submission of privacy practice forms to Janian are submitted in real time.
  • Other duties as required to ensure the overall operation of the program.
