As a member of the Radiology Team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. This is a diverse position in a team-oriented Radiology Department with a need to cover PTO time for other clerical staff. It also includes work in our Breast Center to help the technological staff while learning integral systems utilized in the Radiology Department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Secretarial/clerical experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary contact for Radiology support staff and coordinates communication with physicians and patients.
  • Schedules procedures and provides necessary instructions and prep information.
  • Prepares and manages correspondence, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Oversees Radiology transcription processes and coordinates with off-site teams.
  • Monitors emergency department (ED) call logs and manages discrepancy reporting.
  • Screens and routes calls and visitors, addressing or escalating inquiries as needed.
  • Assists Radiologists with transcription and PACS-related issues, coordinating with PACS/RIS Administrator when necessary.
  • Manages image burning to CDs for distribution or pickup.
