About The Position

Administrative assistants may be responsible for, but not limited to, all office duties, including accounting, billing, charting, and patient scheduling. These support professionals are typically the first point of contact with patients, greeting them and taking initial information, which may include contact and insurance information.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
  • Basic medical terminology.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out directions, read and write.
  • Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uploading orders and documents to patient charts.
  • Managing and maintaining a professional relationship and professional communication with all internal and external customers.
  • Manage outgoing and incoming orders within the company timeline.
  • Maintaining the front desk and reception areas.
  • Performing general accounting and billing services.
  • Overseeing office and medical supplies inventory.
  • Managing email and mail traffic.
  • Maintaining forms and packages as directed by the clinical manager and administrator.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
