They will provide a variety of support functions, including assisting customers or visitors, taking payments, answering questions, and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • English/Spanish bilingual preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi task
  • Excellent customer service and data entry skills
  • Efficient and effective work habits to work both independently and as a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and treat others with respect
  • Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 35lbs
  • Exposure to residential and commercial waste
  • Ability to travel between offices, as required
  • Ability to work flexible hours; overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language
  • High School or better.
  • General Education Diploma or better.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records/files and log and record information on customer accounts in compliance with data integrity and security policies
  • Work on data-entry projects with accuracy to meet deadlines
  • Post preventive maintenance services for trucks and heavy equipment
  • Process invoices and purchase orders
  • Assist/process monthly department audits
  • Receive inquiries via telephone, email, fax, or personal contact regarding customer inquiries, billing, payments, etc., and handle them accordingly to resolve
  • Serve as a backup for other roles as needed, such as Scale Operators
  • Receive and distribute mail and internal correspondence
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of business, and direct them accordingly
  • Arrange accommodations for meetings (lunch, room setup, etc.)
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
