We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Carson City branch. In this front-line, in-office position, you'll provide essential administrative support to our claims team and serve as a welcoming, professional point of contact for internal and external clients. Job Summary The Administrative Assistant supports our Carson City office by handling day-to-day administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the branch. This includes answering phones, processing mail and documents, tracking checks received, preparing bill denials, and providing general office assistance. You'll be an integral part of a small, dedicated team that values teamwork, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Reliable, consistent attendance during office hours

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route phone calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, correspondence, and other documentation.
  • Track checks received and assist with document preparation and distribution.
  • Prepare billing denials and related forms in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support to account managers and adjusters as needed.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling, and supply management.
