AIP is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work in Brownsville, TX. The Administrative Assistant is an administrative support position in the human resources office and the offices of the FD, AFD-A and AFD-O. Provides human resources services to all employees of AKIMA at PIDC and administrative support for the FD, AFD-A and AFD-O. The admin assistant is responsible for compliance of employment requirements, coordinating employee benefits and ensuring the AKIMA Core Policies and all applicable laws, regulations and procedures are adhered to. In addition to secretarial duties (filing, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements), this position will provide administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities to include budgeting, personnel records and payroll. The Administrative Assistant may be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.
