About The Position

Administrative Assistant to High School Principal Grapevine Faith Christian School exists to develop and graduate authentic Christian leaders. Position Summary : The Administrative Assistant to the High School Principal supports the mission of our school by providing support services to the High School Principal. The Assistant plays a crucial role by providing professional administrative support and aiding the High School Principal in the carrying out of his duties. The Assistant will report to the High School Principal. Status : Full-Time / Non-Exempt / 10-month

Requirements

  • Must possess and model a personal authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and be a member of a Bible believing church.
  • Must have a high level of discernment and wisdom, and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google.
  • Proven leadership skills with an ongoing commitment to grow as a servant-leader and manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with the President and Board’s expectations, established school policies and procedures, and the school mission and core values.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and relational skills and the ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Uses acceptable English in written and oral communication.
  • Speaks with clear articulation.
  • Must have a high school diploma.
  • At least 3-5 years of administrative experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Professional experience in the education field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Seeks to model in speech, actions, and attitude, a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ.
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information where judgment and discretion are essential by maintaining absolute confidentiality.
  • Manage the principal’s calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate logistics, and provide daily reminders and briefings to ensure effective time management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and vendors; screen calls and correspondence and respond or redirect inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Prepare and distribute faculty meeting minutes, memos, and communications to faculty, staff, students, and parents.
  • Oversee general office operations, including ordering supplies, managing equipment, and assisting with credit card reconciliation and basic financial documentation.
  • Support school operations by preparing reports, timesheets, substitute teacher attendance logs, and faculty meeting attendance logs.
  • Provide consistent support to students, teachers, and parents, fostering a welcoming, organized, and service-oriented office environment.
  • Provide front desk coverage and serve as receptionist during scheduled lunch breaks or absences, ensuring continuous, professional front-office operations.
  • Assist with instructional technology by managing student loaner devices when the Instructional Technologist is off campus.
  • Maintain and uphold the religious standards of Faith Christian School to include the Lifestyle Statement, Staff Covenant and Statement of Faith.
  • Responsible to disciple, instruct and actively pray for the students on our campus.
  • Responsible to reinforce a Biblical Worldview in every workplace interaction with both students, staff and faculty.
  • Other duties as assigned that are closely related.
