The Robinson College of Business is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant (Temp) to provide support to the Department of Marketing. The Department of Marketing provides marketing instruction in nationally ranked degree programs. Our students benefit from innovative and practical curricula that will prepare them for successful marketing careers. The Administrative Assistant (Temp) will provide support to the Department of Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and four-years of administrative experience preferred; or a high school diploma or GED and eight-years of administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communication: Answering phones, directing calls, taking messages, and managing correspondence.
  • Scheduling: Coordinating calendars, booking appointments, and arranging meetings or travel.
  • Documentation: Preparing reports, memos, invoices, and presentations using software like MS Office.
  • Logistics & Supplies: Ordering office supplies and coordinating maintenance of office equipment.
  • Support: Providing general administrative support to faculty and handling special projects.
  • Work directly with the Business Manager and the Department Chair in coordinating the hiring and orientation of doctoral students.
  • Assess compliance with Board of Regents degree requirements and process registration authorizations. Works directly with the Associate Chair to provide academic support to students.
  • Provide registration support for incoming students following acceptance into college.
  • Assists with the generation of the semester course schedule, including faculty staffing and course adjustments.
  • Process override requests, registration adjustments, and late registration requests.
  • High-volume test grading for faculty for the duration of each semester.
  • Manages/updates tentative class schedule in collaboration with the Department Chair.
  • Collaborate with the Business Manager and Graduate Director regarding GRA hiring, payroll, compensation, and assignments. Implementation of effective operational policies and procedures specific to the objectives of the department.
