POSITION PURPOSE Provides excellent service to customers, sales and other departments by coordinating identity/grade discrepancies, distributing test certificates and investigating problems. Controls filing and preservation of quality records. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain a clean and safe work area Notarize documents as required by customers, sales staff or state authorities Coordinate customer requests with metallurgists and respond to customers – DailyGenerate, review, update, and send test certificates – DailyEmail, upload (to SharePoint), and track – ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s, and CE stamped test certificates - Daily Work with metallurgists on special projects – WeeklyEnter test data to Caterpillar – WeeklyProvide invoices to metallurgists for approval and submit to finance for payment – WeeklyWeekend duties – Covering for As-Rolled, QL5, and QL6 – MonthlyIssue boot and eyeglass vouchers to team members – Monthly Back-up for As-Rolled/Coil material release – Monthly or as neededIssues restencil/diestamp letters to customers Responds to recertification requests from customers and sales Provide coverage for front desk reception as needed
