About The Position

Primary Purpose Provide high-level administrative and project management support to the Executive Director of Talent Management and Personnel Support and the department team. This position ensures efficient daily operations by proactively managing schedules, communications, and departmental systems. The role requires initiative, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs, coordinate complex projects, and support district initiatives related to talent management, recruitment, retention, and employee experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Information Communication Technology (ICT) literate: able to use computers, communication tools, and networks to efficiently manage, share, and make use of digital information
  • Skilled in the use of Google and Microsoft operating systems
  • Proficient in software such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat, including Canva, Frontline, and Skyward.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong written and verbal communication with an internal and external customer-service mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Three or more years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in public schools or Human Resources

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using HR systems or applicant tracking software (preferred)
