About The Position

We are Home Health Advantage. A patient centered, home health agency looking for a full-Time Administrative assistant for our rapidly growing organization. We are searching for an ideal candidate with experience working in the home health care industry that is reliable, organized, a team player, and who has great attention to detail. Administrative assistants are first contact for all of our patients/families, Physicians and Referring sources. Their role is to facilitate all functions of patient's care from the point of a patient’s referral. POSITION SUMMARY The Candidate for this position will be: Work closely with the Benefits Verification Team to obtain prior authorization required for patient’s care utilizing several portals such as Availity. order patient’s supplies DME, Medical supplies and assist with other administrative duties. Acting as an effective daily liaison between our customers, clinicians and our management team Use of multiple computer systems such as Ms. Excel as well as our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) WellSky Kinnser Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints.

Requirements

  • Great personal and organization skills (is a must).
  • Excellent Computer Skills.
  • Minimum 2 years College Degree.
