About The Position
The Placement Specialist is responsible for assisting the School Manager and other applicable management personnel with student placement, and administrative duties as assigned but are not limited to the following: Responsible for functioning as a direct liaison between the student/graduate and the employer for the purpose of providing successful job placement assistance. Scheduling and hosting industry recruiters as approved by the company. Responsible for supporting the admissions team by assisting in scheduling prospective student seminars and job fairs, providing industry employer hiring qualifications, assisting in qualifying prospective students. Responsible for assisting the School Manager in organizing and providing employer participation in all school job fairs and outside hiring seminars. Responsible for assisting students in completing job applications. Complying with all applicable placement policies and procedures. Monitor and track all submitted employment applications. Explaining proper interview techniques to ensure the student understands what companies are looking for and how to best express themselves. Perform duties with honesty, objectivity, truthfulness, integrity and high ethical standards. Regular, reliable and predictable work attendance is an essential job function of this position. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
