About The Position

The Model Home Administrative Assistant will assist the Designers, Manager, and Director of Model Homes. This individual will also participate in Department-wide projects and provide general support to the Department as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (associate or bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Requires at least 2+ years of relevant administrative assistant experience.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe PDR, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Select (with guidance) and maintain furniture and accessories in unsold inventory homes.
  • Process paperwork for moving contents in unsold inventory homes.
  • Maintain reports related to the contents in unsold inventory homes.
  • Process paperwork for model close downs.
  • Process paperwork for model home revisions.
  • Assist Model Home Designers in design templates, ordering furnishings and accessories, maintaining reports, and processing vendor invoices.
  • Assist in various projects, i.e. warehouse maintenance and special projects.
  • Assist in preparation of materials for presentations and meetings.
  • Manage and maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Answer and direct emails, phone calls and other correspondence.
