About The Position

Reporting to the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Academic Partnerships, this role provides advanced administrative leadership and comprehensive operational support for Academic Partnerships. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Dual Credit and Early College Programs, Global Programs, the Prison Education Program, and partnerships with national higher education organizations such as Achieving the Dream and Complete College of America. Operational responsibilities include coordinating onboarding and training support, and managing logistics such as scheduling, meetings, events, purchasing, travel arrangements, and budget coordination. The position may also entail additional duties as assigned. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, independent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret and apply policies while effectively supporting the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Academic Partnerships.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: providing administrative/program support to professional staff and management; performing secretarial duties in support of a manager; coordinating communications between the manager, staff and program clientele; supervision of subordinate staff; researching information from internal and external sources; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
