About The Position

The Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation's DOCCR Client and Community Restoration division is seeking an Administrative Assistant, Intermediate to support and direct the flow of work in the Electronic Home Monitoring unit. This position is onsite located at 3000 North 2nd Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55411. Work hours will be Monday through Friday 2 p.m. through 10:30 p.m. This is a full-time, benefit-earning position. In this position, you will investigate and recommend action regarding issues that arise after normal office hours, provide work direction and support to case management assistants and probation officer staff as needed, review intakes, department email inbox, and workflow including case load review, manage the EHM department vehicles and radio equipment, review the workflow and end of day quality assurance, and review and create reports in Power BI and for CSTS data to include data clean-up.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in general administrative work related to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, or other field appropriate to the position and two or more years of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Hennepin County driver's permit.
