About The Position

The Administrative Assistant / Information Desk Receptionist provides professional administrative support to the Marketing and Communications department while ensuring excellent customer service to constituents. Under general supervision from the Director of Marketing and Communications, the administrative assistant is responsible for assisting with the completion of administrative tasks and functions related to marketing and communication efforts, including staffing the information desk.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or comparable professional experience required.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Data entry experience and excellent typing skills required.
  • Strong organizational and oral/written skills required; bi-lingual preferred.
  • Ability to work within a team environment required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Personal computing experience, including the ability to use standard Microsoft Office software applications required.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system; Ellucian Colleague preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a higher educational institution preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional administrative support to the Marketing and Communications department.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to constituents.
  • Assist with the completion of administrative tasks and functions related to marketing and communication efforts.
  • Staff the information desk.
