Posting Information This position is security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. Performs complex clerical duties for a department, division or college.

  • Oversees all functions of daily operation of departmental resource center, to include inventory of supplies and property, ordering, assembling and organizing supplies and materials.
  • Performs complex clerical functions to include data and document processing and provides general customer service.
  • Answers correspondence and types letters, memorandums, reports and other materials.
  • Performs data entry, tracks budget and programming data.
  • Assists in scheduling appointments.
  • Runs standard reports.
  • Solves routine problems to complete tasks of a repetitive nature.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Two years relevant clerical experience or experience in a related field.
  • Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Requires basic knowledge of general clerical functions.
  • May require proficiency in word processing and excel.
  • Requires accuracy in finding files, entering facts or figures, and operation of office equipment.
  • May be required to drive University vehicle.
