Requirements

  • High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
  • 5+ years - Standard office products and software, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • 5+ years - Clerical Experience
  • Basic Clerical Aptitude test (BCAB): Ability to classify information according to preset rules; spelling and grammar; basic mathematics; filing and sorting information. Suggested Preparation: Review of basic arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages; review rules of grammar, spelling, punctuation; and alphabetizing or putting items in order.

Nice To Haves

  • The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like Microsoft Office and office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks with minimal supervision including, preparing and updating reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems, making meeting arrangements.
  • Assumes responsibility for maintenance and support of office and IT equipment (i.e. assisting employees with printer, computer, and software questions).
  • Handles confidential information on a regular basis.
  • Promotes desired corporate image with all contacts.
  • Proactively looks for ways to assist leaders with a focus on process improvements and daily job functions.
  • May require after hours assistance during storm restoration work to assist with coordinating hotel rooms for employees.
