THE JOB: The primary responsibility of the Admin Support II is to provide administrative and clerical support to the department. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • one year of relevant experience in a similar administrative or operational role
  • flexible with their schedule and able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the position.

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor's degree in a related field
  • two years of administrative experience
  • previously worked in a resort or hospitality setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced administrative staff on work-related tasks.
  • Welcome and assist visitors and callers, manage multi-line phone systems, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel or departments, and respond to general email correspondence from both guests and team members.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and conference calls for department staff.
  • Manage the pickup, shipping, and storage of products; monitor and reorganize storage areas as needed to meet shipping requirements.
  • Maintain organized inventory, ensuring items are properly stocked, sorted, and accessible when needed.
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions including compiling, copying, sorting, filing, and scanning documents; assist in the preparation of departmental reports and maintain databases.
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment, and coordinate necessary repairs or servicing.
  • Collaborate with various functional teams across the department to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders for all goods and services procured by the department.
