The Department of Immunology and Immune Therapeutics at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, seeks a highly motivated Administrative Assistant II to support Dr. Bensinger in his leadership of the department and his laboratory’s research enterprise. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level administrative support to departmental and laboratory operations. Coordinate departmental events, seminars, retreats, and other activities. Schedule guest speakers, manage travel arrangements, and process reimbursements. Assist in the preparation of faculty appointments, dossiers, and accreditation reviews. Ensure compliance with university policies for volunteers and visiting personnel. Maintain confidentiality and manage access to sensitive personnel and faculty records. Contribute to process improvements and support special projects as assigned. Serve as a liaison within the department, across USC, and with external entities. Qualifications Professional demeanor, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently while supporting team efforts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Ability to utilize technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports. The hourly rate range for this position is $25.75 - $29.33.
