About The Position

The Administrative Assistant II will provide high-level administrative support to an individual or department within Elevance Health. This role involves a hybrid work model, requiring the candidate to live within 50 miles of the Grand Prairie, TX location. The position focuses on research, budget tracking, project support, and maintaining documentation, ensuring that project deliverables are met efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 4 years administrative experience or equivalent education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer experience and typing skill of 45 words per minute preferred.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple leaders preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Researches and verifies information pertaining to reports.
  • Prepares and tracks budgets.
  • Creates databases and analyzes moderately complex data.
  • Supports projects by assisting the manager/department.
  • Builds and maintains project plans and schedules.
  • Contributes to meetings to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Prepares correspondence and reviews documentation for conformance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintains files, orders supplies, and coordinates meetings.
  • Compiles and distributes meeting minutes.
  • Handles travel arrangements and expense reports.
  • Screens, handles, or distributes incoming calls and complaints.
