This position is open to MESA members to fill a temporary vacancy in the MHS Payroll Department. This position requires excellent computer skills including knowledge of financial and payroll reporting software. Harpers payroll experience preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other online applications preferred. Must have knowledge and experience with high volume payroll processing, reporting, and analyzing. Works with a team to meet weekly, biweekly, monthly and quarterly submitting and reporting deadlines. Work to include MTRS Data entry project that is due by the end of March. MTRS project needs to be completed in the Human Resources Office or in the Payroll Office where access to a computer and the appropriate systems will be provided. All members are eligible for this new data entry project and training is available. Position is confidential in nature and applicant must have effective verbal and written communication interpersonal skills. Must be highly organized, able to problem solve, and work in a team setting in a fast-paced office environment. Work will be accomplished outside of regular work hours, approximately 7.5 to 10 hours per week, subject to a mutually agreed upon schedule. There may be room for a few additional hours, if it is needed.
