About The Position

The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative and implementation support for designated grant and contract-funded programs/projects. Duties include but are not limited to: communicating and coordinating with external entities; preparing itineraries and meeting agendas; scheduling appointments; preparing clinical files or training materials; maintaining multiple databases, including data collection and entry; gathering and compiling statistics; participating in outreach and program trainings which may include travel; compliance with university, local, state, and federal rules regarding responsible conduct of research; and other various duties.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education.
  • Two years of clerical and administrative support experience, including experience in maintaining records and files, preparing materials using a personal computer or word processor, assisting customers in completing forms and applications, and/or performing secretarial duties in support of professional staff.
  • One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant I in Nevada State service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
