The Administrative Assistant I facilitates the efficient operation of the designated department and/or manager(s) within the designated department by performing a variety of administrative tasks, such as: answering telephones greeting and directing visitors maintaining and scheduling appointment calendars handling various forms of mail (i.e. paper, email, overnight express, fax) ordering office supplies and furnishings arranging for equipment repairs maintaining filing systems and/or computerized record keeping systems and/or databases completing standardized forms handle all confidential correspondence and inter-department communications perform other duties, as assigned
