About The Position
The Administrative Assistant I position at Massachusetts Bay Community College (MassBay) is a vital role within the Registrar's Office, primarily responsible for providing essential administrative and technical support. The Administrative Assistant will also be involved in data entry and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student information within the Student Information System, specifically PeopleSoft. In addition to administrative tasks, the position requires collaboration with various departments to streamline processes and implement policies related to graduation audits. The Administrative Assistant will generate reports, monitor data for accuracy, and provide high-quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff. This role is crucial in maintaining effective communication and coordination with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as ensuring compliance with graduation requirements.
