The Administrative Assistant I, Inflight Innovation and Delivery is a key member of the Inflight Technology team at American Airlines. This role supports Product Owners and Managers with various administrative tasks related to mobile and technology solutions for Flight Attendants and the Inflight organization. The position involves managing reports, providing customer service, and assisting with project initiatives, all while contributing to the overall efficiency of the Inflight department.

  • Review, verify and prepare various department reports, including commission reports and weekly attendance and performance spreadsheet uploads
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers through phone, email, and online support inquiries
  • Contribute and assist with project initiatives, including administrative tasks associated with the implementation of new systems, tasks, and methods
  • Complete transactions for computer and system access
  • Sort, track and file data and correspondence
  • Process time-sensitive requests
  • Efficiently communicate with leadership within the department to address operational inquiries
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of prior administrative experience
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Current or previous Inflight or Flight Attendant experience
