About The Position

The position involves performing functions related to the efficient running of the outpatient rehab department, including oversight of the environment, completion of maintenance work orders, addressing products, supplies and equipment, oversight of equipment rentals, and coordination of interdepartmental activities. The successful candidate will function as administrative support to the Director, performing administrative and clerical functions for the Site Director and department, exhibiting good organizational and time management skills, which contribute to the management and efficient operation of the department. Responsibilities also include overseeing the organization and environment of the unit, assuring supply and equipment needs, communication and conflict resolution, and participating in performance improvement activities, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Five years healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency and passion for learning and improving different processes.
  • Pleasant demeanor and ability to advance ideas and improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • High attention to detail and process-oriented.
