Job Description Redlands Community College is seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to support the Department Head of Nursing and Allied Health. This full-time position plays a critical role in managing the daily operations of a fast-paced academic department, and supporting nursing and allied health faculty, students, and program initiatives. Key Responsibilities: * Provide administrative support to the Department Head and program faculty * Coordinate meetings, travel, events, and maintain department calendars * Track and reconcile departmental budget; process purchase orders and P-card transactions * Handle confidential personnel and student information in compliance with FERPA * Maintain student records and files for program accreditation and admissions * Assist with the organization of data and reports for internal and external reporting * Support student success efforts through scheduling, referrals, and communication * Assist with student records for the admissions process * Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the department and college Minimum Qualifications: * Two or more years of full-time work experience in a secretarial, administrative, or banking role * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Internet and email proficiency Preferred Qualifications: * Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university * Experience in a healthcare, nursing, or academic setting Special Requirements: * Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work at a computer for long durations * Willingness to attend institutional events, in-service trainings, and participate in college committees Institutional Expectations: This position is expected to uphold the mission and values of Redlands Community College by promoting student-first service, integrity, and professionalism.
