The Administrative Assistant is a part-time administrative position supporting the Education Department at The Frick Collection. The Assistant will primarily be responsible for coordinating the Education Department’s internal and public-facing programming calendar. They will contribute to the scheduling and coordination of guided visits and private tours, which includes: receiving and responding to email and phone inquiries; checking for scheduling conflicts in online calendars; processing online reservation forms and payments; handling program-related recordkeeping and filing; coordinating with relevant museum staff as well as contractors; sending confirmation and follow-up emails to visit and tour requesters. While this position does not include teaching responsibilities, it is a critical public-facing role; welcoming or greeting in-person groups may be needed on occasion. The Assistant will also respond to everyday email and phone inquiries related to education, and supply program data and statistics for grant applications and reports. Working hours will be three days a week.
