About The Position

David Weekley Homes is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our Nashville team. Project Coordinators provide administrative support to the operations team--including Sales, Construction, Warranty, and Project Managers.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a member of a dynamic team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and deal effectively with numerous interruptions
  • Drive to get results from vendors, subcontractors, and management and a lack of phone reluctance
  • Prior experience in residential home building and/or the permitting processes is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exposure to JD Edwards beneficial, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Process sales contracts and closings
  • Manage/apply for all building permits and work with local municipalities
  • Document, track and report on all building permit and start activities
  • Coordinate meetings and team events
  • Maintain accurate electronic files for each home
  • Pay invoices and utility bills
  • Order supplies
  • Additional support as needed
