About The Position

The Administrative Assistant for Community Impact provides high-level support to the department’s initiatives, partnerships, and programs. This role ensures smooth daily operations, efficient coordination of community-related activities, and effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting community-focused work. Position is Part-Time and is based in Las Vegas, NV.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in nonprofit, community relations, or corporate social responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting community programs or partnerships.
  • Familiarity with tracking tools, project management systems, or CRM software.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus (given community-facing nature).

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for Community Impact leadership.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence related to community initiatives.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for department documents, reports, and partner materials.
  • Track project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to support successful program execution.
  • Assist in coordinating community events, outreach efforts, volunteer activities, and partnership meetings.
  • Support preparation of presentations, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up action items.
  • Maintain contact lists of community partners, nonprofit organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Help manage donation requests, sponsorship documentation, and partnership agreements.
  • Assist with collecting and organizing data for impact reporting and executive updates.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, tracking logs, and internal dashboards as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Draft basic correspondence, memos, and summaries related to community projects.
  • Coordinate internal communication regarding community events, initiatives, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for vendors, partners, and community organizations.
