About The Position

The Administrative Assistant for the Executive Director of Clinical Support Services plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the department. This position involves providing essential administrative support, managing outpatient visits, and assisting with various projects, schedules, and accreditation tasks while delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience in administrative support roles, ideally in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hospital scheduling systems (e.g., My Time, EPIC).
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project management, data analysis, and preparation of reports and documents.
  • Maintain records of staff competencies, licenses, and evaluations.
  • Answer phones, manage correspondence, and update department schedules.
  • Coordinate outpatient visits, ensuring positive customer interactions and timely communication with physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, participate in safety training, and support departmental goals.
