About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Community Relations, the Administrative Assistant will assist in the development and execution of messages representing the interests of the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, its stakeholder community and related entities; Promote positive public relations between the school district and community; Prepare and provide information for both internal and external audiences regarding various activities, goals and policies of the district. In addition, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for organizing and managing the routine work activities of an administrative department office and provide clerical services to the department head and other staff members.
