Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative and staff support to a department or group of professionals. The role involves collecting, compiling, and entering moderately complex information into the system (SAP), exercising independent judgment, and employing basic reasoning skills. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for writing up orders for outside testing, delivering samples to the mail room for shipment to outside testing labs, facilitating order expediates and retests, creating production orders for intercompany testing, and recording test results from outside testing into the lab system. Additionally, the position serves as the primary contact for outside testing vendors to request results and follow-ups, hand-delivers and receives documents between departments within the company, files and scans documents to other Carpenter facilities, and performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
