About The Position

The Compliance Assistant at Chimes plays a crucial role in supporting the Compliance Department by managing data tracking, preparing documents, and assisting with compliance-related tasks. This position is essential for ensuring that the organization meets its commitments and maintains compliance with state requirements, ultimately contributing to the well-being of individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges.

Requirements

  • Preferred: Associate's degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Compliance Department with creating spreadsheets in Excel to track data at the request of the Compliance Manager and Assistant Director.
  • Track POCs and send reminders regarding POC commitments and due dates as needed.
  • Assist with gathering documents requested by the state as needed.
  • Prepare documents for the QM Meeting.
  • Prepare documents and take meeting minutes for meetings as needed.
  • Gather and review fire drills and emergency preparedness drills and enter them into Therap.
  • Compile trends for incidents for Holcomb programs.
  • Review GERs and approve minor GERs and assign GER Resolutions as needed.
  • Complete GER Resolution as needed.
  • Track reportable incidents and internal investigations via Excel spreadsheet and send out reminders as needed.
  • Teach compliance-specific trainings during NEO and as needed.
  • Submit supply requests to the Director as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
