The Department of Anthropology and School of Labor and Employment Relations are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in the areas of communications (social media and mail), office equipment and supply management, marketing, and faculty and scheduling support. The Administrative Assistant will work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing organizational and time management skills, to complete this position's responsibilities, which include but are not limited to: Maintain and update department websites in collaboration with IT, Maintain social media accounts and digital communication boards, Create flyers and promotional materials through Canva, Coordinate marketing approvals and printing services, Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, including shipments and invoice reconciliation, Manage office supply inventory and equipment maintenance, Assist with textbook orders and course syllabi collection each semester, Coordinate faculty regalia orders for commencement and events, Serve as the primary contact for booking conference rooms and event spaces, Maintain room calendar and Zoom links as needed, Provide support to departmental staff including for (but not limited to) event coordination and student services.
