The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper will provide support to the production and dissemination of grant information. This person will be a personal assistant to the Director of UB. Possess excellent organizational and general office management skills. Perform general administrative support including archival files, producing correspondence, processing general mailings, maintain a computerized timeline and generate reports for the Director as needed. Must possess bookkeeping skills, be able to maintain records on budgetary and purchasing transactions and verify departmental statements. Will assist in balancing budgets and reconciling monthly expense statements for the program. This person will be responsible for checking all requisitions before presenting them to the director for approval. Duties would also include maintaining account records and helping to insure that the program is following guidelines in all transactions. Must be a proficient typist and have computer skills-experience with word processing, spread sheet (Excel), and data bank software programs.
