Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead to lower level staff by prioritizing and assigning work, training staff on work methods and procedures.
  • Organize, coordinate, and administer a variety of specialized programs and activities requiring complex technical administrative support.
  • Initiate, process, prepare, record, and review routine and specialized paperwork, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Respond to inquiries from the Board, the public, and other departments, providing information on departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records, files, and information to ensure compliance with applicable rules and guidelines.
  • Draft, compose, and type various business documents while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment, initiating service and repairs as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison with employees and external organizations, representing the department at meetings and events.
  • Assist with budget preparation by preparing cost estimates and recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
