Rivers School Conservatory is seeking a dedicated and organized individual for the full-time position of Program Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director of the Performing Arts. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the performing arts department and requires a strong commitment to customer service and effective communication. The position is fully onsite, emphasizing the importance of in-person collaboration and support for faculty, students, and parents. As the primary point of contact, the Program Coordinator will handle inquiries via phone and email, ensuring that all communications are routed appropriately and that questions from parents and students are answered promptly. This role also involves managing mid-year progress reports and end-of-year evaluations for over 500 students, which requires meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with scheduling placement interviews for new students, ensuring a seamless onboarding process. In terms of program coordination, the individual will manage the workshop and recital program, coordinating weekly workshops across five departments and handling pianist scheduling. This includes arranging room reservations for events and managing all necessary logistics. The coordinator will also produce weekly student recital programs and other concert event programs, contributing to the vibrant musical community at Rivers. Administrative support is another key aspect of this role, which includes managing day-to-day office needs, maintaining student files, and assisting with billing for over 800 students. The Program Coordinator will also support special projects, including monthly concerts, annual competitions, and development campaigns, showcasing the diverse range of activities at the conservatory.
