About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Assistant 2, (Parking), Administrative Services [R0150920] ROLE of the POSITION The department will be hiring for three Administrative Assistant 2 positions. The Parking position will primarily provide customer service, clerical and front counter support for the Parking & Transportation Services Office. The incumbents will assist in front desk operations, back office operations, and the cashier station for the Parking & Transportation Services Office. Duties include but are not limited to: serve as the front desk receptionist, process citation payments, parking permits sales and customer service. This position requires confidentiality and discretion. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and in a welcoming manner with students, faculty, and the general public over email, in person and on the phone. In addition to strong customer service skills, this person will complete administrative projects in a timely, organized, and consistent manner.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education and two years of clerical and administrative support experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records and files; preparing a variety of materials using a personal computer or word processor; assisting customers in completing forms and applications; and/or performing secretarial duties in support of professional staff; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
