This position provides essential clerical and administrative support to Child and Family Services social workers who serve Montana’s foster care, child protection, and licensing programs. Requirements

  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheet, word processing, database, email, internet and other computer programs.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Two years of job-related work experience in administrative support, receptionist or other related areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the social services systems related to child protection issues.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and typing correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Maintaining and updating foster care and other child-related records
  • Assisting staff with maintaining accurate demographic and case-related information
